The Virtualisation Garden

The modern CIO is being bombarded with business requirements on one side and new technologies like Virtualisation and Automation on the other. The business is expecting a rapid agile IT system, which preferably does not cost anything! In a perfect world, the CIO would probably throw everything away and start again, but very few of us are blessed with that opportunity, and hence have to make the best out of the complex systems we have inherited. Peter will use practical examples from round the world to show how to exploit these new technologies in a business driven fashion in order to deliver the IT system that best suits the business and the marketplace.

IT is like a garden you have just inherited. Which bits do you prune, which bits do you fertilise?
