Dr. Marcus Funke (MENA Support Director) Dr. Marcus-Alexander Funke is Regional Support Director for the MENA region with SAP Active Global Support EMEA. SAP wants to leverage Marcus’s extensive Support and customer experience as well as his global experience and network to ensure high level support for the region. Marcus joined SAP in May 2001 as Programme Manager implementing SAP's portfolio in various Large Enterprises industries in the Benelux, Middle East and South Africa. In 2005 Marcus joined SAP Active Global Support EMEA developing SAP support operations focusing on SAP MaxAttention and other Large Enterprise clients in emerging South Africa. He holds a PhD Degree from the Technical University Darmstadt (Germany) in Chemical Engineering and is a PMI Project Management Professional.
