• Responsible for Al-Abdulkarim Group\Naizak IT strategy, architecture, standards and governance, in particular, defining and maintaining our IT architecture, including its cost structure implications.
• Oversees and supports the implementation of Al-Abdulkarim Group\Naizak information security policies and standards, defining and implementing an effective framework for the management of our IT security.
• Understand Al-Abdulkarim Group\Naizak day-to-day and strategic needs and to ensure we are providing IT solutions that will meet them, and make that happen,
• Provide the technical evaluations of all investments, technology analysis, and assessments for Technologies Investment Company.
• Oversaw technical activities of the companies/projects that Technologies Investment Company invest in; through membership in the Board of Directors /and or the executive committees of these companies/projects.
• Looked out for new investment opportunities, evaluate them, and present them to Technologies Investment Company
• Planned and Created the Information Protection Center that handle all IT security for Saudi Aramco IT environment
• Plan and Create the Information Protection Division that developed IT Security policies & procedures and monitor their adherence within all Saudi Aramco IT environments.
• Work on and co-authored Saudi Aramco IT Business Continuity Plan as part of a team that develops this viable plan.
• Develop the corporate strategic plans/architectures for the Servers/Workstations used in Saudi Aramco that include the two IBM Z/900 Mainframe, more than 300 SUN servers, 1500 servers Microsoft Windows Servers, and 57,000 workstations
• Develop Saudi Aramco strategic plans/architectures for storage environment that tops more than 180 terabytes of online storage and 900 terabyte of off line storage.
• Develop Saudi Aramco Security environment which include the selection and planning for all IT Security Systems and tools
• Develop the Saudi Aramco Applications portfolio which include the selection and planning for SAP and none SAP Enterprise Applications.
